Another new series of Corby has been added to its phone line by Samsung Consumer Electronics. Samsung GT-S3850 Corby II is the new model from Samsung and the design of the phone is completely new and unique compared to other models of Corby. This new phone features 3.14 inch touchscreen display, 2 megapixel camera, 3.5 mm audio port, Stereo FM with RDS and more. The handset also supports 16 GB micro SD card slot, Social Hub and Microsoft Exchange. You can also record video in QVGA resolution at 15 frames per second with this new phone.

The new Samsung touchscreen smartphone comes with TouchWiz User Interface and 1000 mAh battery that supports 9.5 hours of talk time. The handset will be available in different colors such as Pink, Yellow and White. The new phone is expected to hit the markets and available from late March 2011. First it will be launched in Germany, then Europe, Asia, Middle East, China, India, Africa and Latin America. There is no information on pricing at this moment.
The latest touchscreen smartphone is missing 3G, there is no 3G facility on this phone. Though there is no word on pricing yet, it is expected that pricing would be around Rs.10K in India.

No buddy, Skype doesn’t support Samsung corby handsets. You gotta wait until Skype release their official App for Corby models.

Unfortunately, WhatsApp is currently available for download on iOS, Android, Blackberry and Nokia Symbian60 smartphones. The Samsung S3650 and Genio Touch are not running any of those operating systems and are using a Samsung proprietary OS.
