The popular blogging software WordPress is getting enhanced with each version upgrade. With WordPress you can have the best blogging experience, it is very flexible and you can customize your blog the way you want.
Yesterday, a new enhanced version of WordPress has been released, it includes some new cool features that make it easier for you and you can blog better with all these new cool features.
WordPress v3.1 Latest Features:
1) Internal Linking:
Internal linking is one of the most expected features for this new version 3.1. Everyone knows the significance of internal linking for WordPress SEO. The new feature will let users to make a search via their present blog posts and include links in the content. You will see a button added in the post write panel, similar to external link one, where a popup like media composition button will be seen.
2) Admin Bar:
You must be familiar with the admin bar, if you have used a WordPress.com blog before. In this new version, an administration bar will be included to link the back end and front end of your blog. People on multisite installs will be benefited by this new feature, but the single-site users can also be benefited by this feature because it gives an access to dashboard, new post etc with just one click.
3) Separate Network Dashboard:
At present, the multi-site dashboard is pretty cluttered and confusing. Network dashboard and site dashboard will be separated by this new feature. An alternative to set up a personal dashboard to change the global dashboard for account holders but have no site in multi site was also considered. There is a chance that this new feature may be postponed to WordPress 3.2 because of its complicated and time consuming nature.
4) Quick Press Template Tag:
You can see a little section for Quick Posting in your WordPress dashboard, it is also known as Quick Press. The new template tag can be used on your site’s front end for making quick posts.
